Allied Building Approvals (ab-a) follows the Code of Conduct for Building Surveyors. The Code sets out key expectations for professional behaviour, including acting lawfully, managing conflicts of interest, maintaining records, communicating clearly, and handling complaints.

How We Respond

We will confirm receipt of your complaint within 24 business hours.

We will contact you within 5 business days to discuss the matter.

We may request more information so we can review the issue and provide a response.

We will keep you updated while we assess the complaint and outline the steps we will take to address it.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may raise the matter with the relevant authority or dispute resolution service.

Issues outside our role or appointment should be directed to the appropriate body (for example, planning matters to local council, or building dispute matters to Consumer Affairs Victoria or DBDRV).
